Are you seeing a rise in sexting and sexual harassment in your school? Research shows that pornography use amongst school age pupils influences sexting, especially coercive sexting and sexual harassment. Fifty per cent of children with pornography-related problems are virgins, so while lessons on consent are useful, they are not enough. Pornography use and sexting can promote negative body image and social anxiety and a range of other mental health concerns. Internet Pornography and Sexting Bundle, Wales can be the solution you need. This seven-lesson integrated bundle allows teachers and pupils to explore a range of questions in a safe environment. Our pack gives you the confidence to answer the difficult questions pupils want to ask about pornography and sexting. There are three lessons for sexting suitable for 11-18 years and another four on pornography for ages 15-18. Some lessons come in alternative versions so you can meet your specific requirements.

Our lesson development process

The lessons in Internet Pornography and Sexting Bundle, Wales have been developed with the assistance of a range of experts.  Our authors consulted more than 20 teachers, many experienced in developing training materials for schools, as well as youth and community leaders, psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, lawyers, including those from the prosecution services, police, including campus cops and many parents. They conform to the laws of England and Wales. It does not constitute legal advice. However, it provides an overview of the some of the key legal issues around sexting. We have piloted these lessons across the UK.

With evidence-based materials teachers can feel confident in discussing these matters and help prepare pupils across their secondary school years to appreciate the range of views and challenges about both pornography use and sexting.
